The trip of a lifetime, a summer of love - unputdownable writing, perfect for fans of John Green and E. Lockhart.

Maddie O'Neill Levine wants to spend the summer before college tying up loose ends with her best friends - kissing boys and soaking up the last of the summer sun. Then her beloved grandmother drops a bombshell; she has been diagnosed with cancer. To spend quality time with her family, Maddie's grandmother takes the whole family on a round-the-word cruise - but at the end of it, Gram might not return home.

Here is a story about love, loss and the power of forgiveness.

DNF review!

I rarely DNF so I'm practicing this habit because I have way too many books to read, like many other people.

I'll keep this short. I started this book and was actually liking it. I especially liked Grandma! She was a fun grandma for sure. Then we got to meet more of... I forgot her name (that's how much I was paying attention to this) *searches name* Maddie! That's her name. Anyways, the more I got to know her, the more I disliked her but I kept read for the sake of the other characters.

Janie got on my nerves so that's another character. This Enzo guy... I got skeptical of him very quickly. And, am I the only one who thinks of Enzo (the actor) from The Vampire Diaries? Because he's all I keep picturing for this book-Enzo.

I disliked how Maddie got around Enzo. That's actually where I stop reading, when they met up at his cabin. It's just so... Vomit-inducing. I know I know. It's disgusting. But seriously, I just wanted to gag.

Sadly, this wasn't for me.
