If you loved the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare then this book will be a nice treat for you. I love the element of not really knowing why her Aunt wants her to come Alaska and how you get just a bit of the story as you read along. I love the light romance element between Emma and Kade not to over the top but just enough to keep you interested.
I also love how you get revealed just enough information about this new world that Emma suddenly finds herself apart of without being totally overwhelmed with a bunch of information that it distracts you from the story. Bonus points for ending the story on a cliff hanger cause i am totally going to hunt down the next book and devour it so watch for my review of Descent (Hidden Wings 1.5) and Broken Wings (hidden wings 2).
