"Top dog Duke leads a busy work crew to a new construction site. All sorts of dogs have plenty to do before the day is out. These clever dogs will dig, haul, push, plow, and even bring in a crane to build a new park. But what happens when they find something unexpected buried deep in the ground?"--Dust jacket.
A crew of construction worker dogs suit up in boots, gloves, goggles, and dirt-digging suits and use all kinds of equipment to build a park.
This is a fun lyrical book full of rhymes. The illustrations are full and definitely bound to entertain and keep a young reader occupied. The humor within is definitely giggle-worthy. I wouldn't hesitate to look for something more from [a:James Horvath|3148365|James Horvath|http://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/nophoto-U-50x66-251a730d696018971ef4a443cdeaae05.jpg] in the future as this debut has pleased me.
Update: Looking forward to [b:Build, Dogs, Build: A Tall Tail|18090023|Build, Dogs, Build A Tall Tail|James Horvath|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1373232272s/18090023.jpg|25404468]!
