I really don't know what my problem is with this series. I want to like it, I really do, but I just don't.

Alex is incredibly selfish and annoying; the romance is transparent, forced, immature and annoying; the world building is bare and flat; the twists are obvious; the plot is overtaken by the romance. I feel like nothing much happens at all for most of the book, a lot of it is Alex pining over Adian and trying to trust Seth when it's so obvious she really shouldn't trust him at all. I wanted to throw this book across the room every time Alex acted selfish, rash and stubborn, which was most of the book, she was just so stupid and blind. Gahh it annoyed the hell out of me!

I was just so bored and that makes me sad. I just don't like any of the characters which makes it hard to like anything about this series. Yet why am I still forcing myself through each book?!? I think because I spent money on this series is why.
