I’ll be honest. When I first started reading this debut novel, I wasn’t 100 percent sure I would enjoy it. But, I was surprised. I was instantly hooked and drawn to Eric and Jenny, and felt all of their emotions and struggles. As a former addict who suffers from depression and severe anxiety, this book was needed.

Eric and Jenny were wonderfully chiseled. Their journey was full of ups and definitely full of downs, but through it all, their journey was an inspiration. The story is written powerfully and filled with emotions that will have you smiling one minute, wondering what happened to your heart the next.

Mental health is a real thing. I live it daily. It’s scary, it’s hard, and I don’t wish it on my worst enemy. But, this debut captured the daily struggles in a beautiful way and I highly recommend this book to everyone. It’s not an easy read, but it’s definitely a captivating one and I am so glad I gave it a chance. I’m looking forward to another awesome novel from this truly talented author.
