I'm NHL defenseman Lance Romero, AKA Lance "Romance."

I'm notorious for parties and excess. I have the most penalty minutes in the league. I get into the most fights. I take the most hits. I'm a player on and off the ice. I'm the one women with no inhibitions want.

Not because I like the notoriety, but because I don't know how to be any other way.

I have secrets. Ones I shared with the wrong person, and she used them against me. Sometimes she still does. I should cut ties. But she makes it difficult, because she's the kind of bad I deserve.

At least that's what I believed until someone from my past gets caught up in my present. She's all the good things in this world. She lights up my dark.

I shouldn't want her.

But I do.

I should leave her alone.

But I won't.

me faltó química, más drama también, fue bonito, dulce y sexy, pero no satisfajo (así se escribe?). Y no sé exactamente porqué, pienso e intento encontrar ALGO obvio que me diga porqué, pero no encuentro. Sin duda me faltó más química, es como que muy fácil, a diferencia de sus otros libros, no me habría importado que esta vez Helena usara un poco más de drama. Lance es un personaje extremadamente sexy, y durante todos los libros anteriores hemos tenido este tipo tan imponente, no un mal tipo o prepotente, solo un mujeriego bastante triste, y llámame cruel, pero eso era lo que quería, porque había LA HISTORIA PORNO-DRAMÁTICA para explotar ahí y yo la habria adorado de principio a fin. Lo sentí muy fácil y un poco fuera de personaje a Lance, creo que ese es mi más grande problema, me falto más intensidad por parte de Lance, además de que se uso el viejo recurso de la ex maldita y luego de leer More Than Once ya no me convence ese tipo de recursos.
