Since then, the stand has been owned and managed exclusively by local girls, who inevitably become the best for friends.

I loved the premise of this book - carrying on a business founded during WWII, searching for the secret recipes, a misunderstood life, etc. But the story was just kind of meh for me. Amelia wasn't as relatable as I wanted her to be.
