I had no doubt I would enjoy this book, when I picked it up, but it delighted me so much, I was inspired to go to Amazon and one-click the authors' previous release.
This was a great twist on the Taming of the Shrew, where the Shrew, a.k.a. Cameron, decided to tame herself. Though her reasons for embarking on her atonement tour were not the best (she was doing it for a boy), watching her grow and change and really reflect on what she did and why she did it was a great thing. Not only did she develop some new and meaningful friendships, she also took a hard look at some of her current relationships, chief among them, the ones with her parents.
In-between all the introspection, there were a lot of fun events. I enjoyed going to Mordor, Rocky Horror, and even the robotics lab with Cameron. Not only was there fun and frolicking, there was flirting and swooning too. I really liked the romantic choices the authors made here, and they even gave me a great grand gesture. I live, for grand gestures.
If I'm being honest, I absolutely loved this book.
