I didn't know what to expect when starting this, since I don't like it when publishers take new people taking over old roles, instead of a new superhero role. But I was happy with what I've read and I am loving Riri as Ironheart. She is her own person, has a great personality and I can't see how anybody can't come to like her.

She volume starts off with Riri trying to improve and train with her new suit, to become a superhero and live up to the Iron Man legacy that Tony left behind. I love seeing her interact with people in Tony's life, especially Pepper Potts. We see them team-up a little bit in this volume and as somebody who loves Pepper, I hope we see more of her. We see a little bit into Riri's backstory and get an insight into why she wants to save lives.

If you are putting off reading this because your afraid of a copycat female Iron Man, don't be, Riri comes out as a strong character with a mind of her own.

Art was fantastic and I love the fight scenes.

This volume is off to a great start and I hope to see some great stories about Ironheart in the future.
