I really enjoyed this story about a woman on the run from her past and a man who was stopped in his tracks with just one look.
Taryn has been living a very quiet and secret life after a tragedy in her youth. She comes into a little town when her car breaks down. This was just a stop-over and not something she planned. She walks into a bar owned by the Callaghan's.
Jake Callaghan is one of the many Callaghan brothers who own and run a pub. On a very busy night he spots a woman and instantly feels an attraction.
This story has action, adventure, friendship and sexy times. Loved the friendship Taryn makes with the brothers and the way she can hold her own with them. A great connection between Jake and Taryn.
Two little negatives...the good old insta-love Jake felt towards Taryn was one and that Taryn was a little too close to some of the brothers was two. At one stage I wasn't even sure which brother was going to win her.
Definitely reading more in this series...plenty of these tough brothers to go around.
