Judy Serrano has done it again! I had been missing her books a lot hoping that there would be another that I could lose myself in and Unorganized Crime did just that. The main character is Jazz, starting the book where she falls out of a helicopter and rescued by Gage and him then leaving her. She loved him, he said at nineteen she was too young and went off into the sunset so to speak.
We then fast forward to five years later she’s a cop and wants in on a big bust that would strengthen her career. The problem is, this job requires her to get close to a crime boss, it can only end in trouble. I am not going to divulge any more but this book was absolutely amazing and I fell into it straight away.
Maybe it’s because Hector made appearances? I have missed the Montiago’s.
I loved the storyline, there was never a dull moment, it was action-packed with the crime bosses, cartels, danger, romance, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat so many times. The twists I did not expect at all.
It was fast-paced and flowed perfectly. I cannot say a bad word about the book it was absolutely brilliant. I could read and re-read Judy’s books all day every day and never get bored.
