She's safe for now - but for how long?"

Four friends, formerly known as the Beta Boys, created a game that ended up being worth billions and created a company – REKD – using the initials of their names. (Pronounce it out loud – it is a clever name. Try it. . . There! See what I mean?)

The company took gaming to a very serious level. Every employee had to play their game, from the CEOs down. The atmosphere at the company was so great everyone wanted to work there.

So, though this is technically a suspense story, with Ahri hiding from the people who murdered her husband, the suspense happens mostly just at the beginning and the ending.

If you have read other books by this author, you may have come across Rafe already. He is the son of Francie from Second Chances 101 and the former college roommate of Ethan from Kings Crossed Lovers. I really liked Rafe, especially the way he interacted with his half-sister and brother. How many twenty-something men do you know who keep car seats in their SUV for when they want to transport younger siblings. Aww!

I loved the relationship between Ahri and her brother Kayn. Having had to shoulder way too many burdens when they were younger, they learned great responsibility and drew really close to each other.

This was a fun, sweet story that you can enjoy even if you are not a big fan of suspense.
