DISLIKED: Grammatical errors out the wazoo. A good chunk of the dialogue was written weirdly, like some things got sorely lost in translation. The author was not descriptive of the setting, which takes place in Manila and I have ZERO understanding of. The author also uses a variety of prefixes that mean absolutely nothing to me; some explanation would've been appreciated when they used terms like lolo, lola, ate, kuya, etc. The main character's "cold fury" and "rage" later in the book is not justifiable because she's a simpleton. She literally made me so mad because she just would not be honest with her feelings about Mark to his face. And all she does is talk about her anger - no action!

LIKED: The MC is a computer programmer, which I thought was cool. "If only life, feelings, and love were as simple as making programs — you know, put in the right code, the correct input, and things will happen the way you want them."
