Really, really good

Absolutely loved this story. The writing was brilliant, the main characters were people you could not help but love and the villains were hateful, arrogant and selfish. The storyline was riveting and kept my attention with wonderful descriptive passages and dialogue that made me feel like I was sitting in the room with them.

I am a huge fan of historical romances and this was a little darker than my normal fare. A few times I felt that it sounded a little too modern with some of the swearing and feelings expressed, but maybe that made it a little more easier to understand.

Lots of hot sexy bits and a real connection between Justine and Brandon.

There were some scenes that may be triggers for some, but none of it offended me and all of the bad stuff was described well without being OTT.

I really like some of the additional characters and would love it if Charles got his own HEA...maybe even with Georgina???

Ms Porter love you work and I hope you will write more Historical Romances just for me.
