However, the dynamic between them shifted when a planned group weekend retreat turned into an intimate weekend for two, courtesy of a snowstorm.

Upon hearing of Kingston's recovery from a bone marrow donation, she couldn't stay away any longer. 


The progression of Claire and Kingston's relationship from friendship to romance made for a passionate and heartfelt read. It wasn't just Claire who secretly nurtured a crush; Kingston also harbored deep feelings for her. Despite his attempts to escape them, it all came to a head on one unforgettable night. The night he finally faced the truth. Together, they had many challenges to overcome and in the end they did.
