Hmmmmmm. I don't know how to review this and give this book what it deserves.
I laughed and I cried....several times. I'm a huge fan of Ms. Harmon and I loved her previous book- "Running Barefoot". I had the same reaction to that book. For me, Ms. Harmon pulls me into the book and I am completely enveloped in that world. Her words are lyrical and they just....flow.
I stayed up waayyyyy late to finish it and to read the epilogue. I loved WIlson... just loved him and his family and how they created the "layers" that Blue had so deeply wished for.
Blue's story is fascinating and painful and uplifting.
I definitely have a "hangover" from this book...still feeling it as I try to (poorly) express my feelings for this book.
Adoration... that's the first word that comes to mind. And maybe the best word...
