While this was quite readable the concept of inheritable and inevitable evil is problematic for me. I have no problem with people struggling against their own urges but when all that this character got from her father was genetics? Brought up by a good family etc. I also have problems with the good guys setting out to kill her without any proof of evil or potential evil.

Still the being brought up by Jaguars, jaguar shapeshifting and the romance between the two characters was well drawn. Without the inheritable evil bit this would have easily got 4 stars.
