Like the first book, this novel is beautifully written and held my attention more this time around as Erik delves into his family background, as well as re-establishing significant relationships in his life.

I decided against reading Give Me Your Answers True to jump straight into book three of The Fish Tales which is marked as the sequel to The Man I Love. I don't feel I've missed out by not reading the second book. But as I have a copy of it, I may decide to re-read the three books in their entirety at a future date.
