The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown

The Golden Egg Book (Big Story) (Little Golden Book) (Big Little Golden Book)

by Margaret Wise Brown

A Golden classic about a bunny—and a little duck that is about to hatch! A perfect gift for your child on Easter.

Once there was a little bunny. He was all alone. One day he found an egg. He could hear something moving inside the egg. What was it?

The tale of a bunny's discovery of a mysterious egg--a Big Golden Book beloved by generations--is available for the first time in the Little Golden Book line, with its original illustrations by Caldecott Medalist Leonard Weisgard. This Springtime classic by the author of Goodnight Moon is now perfectly sized for Easter baskets!

Cute. This is very attractive with plenty to look at on the pages. My copy is a BIG Little Golden Book, but I think it might be in one of the treasuries also. The egg silhouette on the page is a neat idea and conversation starter for the environment around one.

Good for friendship. Good for the lonely child. Good for spring and decent for an Easter basket of books.

It's a vintage classic from my parents era.
