This was an interesting story about an unusual supernatural being. Jackie suddenly finds she's a banshee, or would be if she'd died when she was supposed to. Thrust into a world she didn't know existed, she discovers she's wanted by several people for her powers. Jackie quickly has to work out who she can trust. Which is more difficult than it seems with supernaturals about.
I liked the characters, particularly Jackie and Toby and thought there were some good plot developments along the way, some more obvious than others. I think the book could have been improved a bit but the story captured me enough to keep it at 4 stars.
