After reading Melody’s Wolf, the first book in the Lyric Hounds series, I jumped at the chance to review Wolf-Bound. I really loved reading Barrett and Saxon’s story. I have a soft spot for damaged heroes and Barrett immediately tugged at my heart strings. Even two years after losing the love of his life, he still can’t move on.

Defying all the odds, Barrett and Saxon are reunited once again. After realizing they’d both been lied to and Saxon remembers him, they reclaim their love, only to have to quickly defend it against Saxon’s family and a scorned suitor.

I loved the concept of two lovers separated by war and lies only to be reunited again by fate, or more specifically, Madame Eve, sole proprietor of 1 Night Stand (1NS), an exclusive online dating service. Nobody knows how she does it, but Madame Eve has an uncanny knack for matching soul mates.

The only issue I had with the book was that it was too short! If you enjoy reading about heartache, betrayal, carnal love-making and an alpha male fight scene, this quick read will tame your hunger!
