The Future of Us

by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler

What if you could see how your life would unfold--just by clicking a button?

It's 1996, and less than half of all American high school students have ever used the Internet. Emma just got her first computer and an America Online CD-ROM. Josh is her best friend. They power up and log on--and discover themselves on Facebook, fifteen years in the future. Everybody wonders what their destiny will be. Josh and Emma are about to find out.

Th Future of Us has SUCH an intriguing concept. It's my first book by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler and I actually really liked it. The idea of seeing your future intrigues me so hard. I would love to peek into a year from now and see how life is and a year from that etc.

The ending was a bit abrupt, what a cop out to not share a Facebook update from actual 2011, to see how it panned out.
