This wasn’t my favorite X-23 issue, and it kills me to say that. It was a fun one-shot sort of plot, and it was nice to see more of Laura’s little sister. I think they probably wanted this issue in here so that we could see that there were no permanent side effects from the latest plot. At least, that’s my theory.
I’m glad it was a one-shot and not a longer plot though. It was funny and interesting, but I don’t think it would have held my attention for any longer than this one issue. And oh man, all of the high school jokes and references. Both funny and painful that was. It was in a good way, I think.
