The writing style used by the author was from 3rd person point of view which usually, I’m not a fan of but the writing is well constructed and easy to follow. I had never encountered any confusion with the transition as it doesn’t shift to one person to another. It was very entertaining and surprisingly it was unputdownable. It’s a good read that I’m glad I took a chance on it and have accepted to review this book. Usually, with billionaire-romance, there were a lot of curses but this seems mild. Michael Thornton is cruel and narrow-minded, I don’t really get why he had to hurt Lex with his spiteful words and confusing emotions. We were given a scenario where Michael had only acted that way because of what he knew from the file he has on Lex according to his private investigator but it doesn’t mean he has the right to hurt her or anyone for that matter.

The whole story focuses on how Sasha/Lex tries to protect Michael. I feel that the ending was a bit rushed and that we didn’t see any epilogues. There were only 10 chapters in this book and each has its own action and drama.

I have received a digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book from the author's request and the publisher, Dawn Hill Publications LTD, in exchange for a fair and honest book review.
