I finished my first cowboy romance, and I liked it. This was fun and satisfying friends-to-lovers romance. The push and pull got to me at one point, and Luke's reasoning for it made me nuts, but I liked seeing them final give in and acknowledge their feelings. Luke and Olivia also had a lot of baggage to unpack, and I was glad Yates took the time to address this and let it happen. I always like when time is taken to mend those broken fences. The ending was exactly what I want in a romance. It absolutely left me with a smile on my face.
I will definitely be reading more books in this series.
