Dang, I don't know why I didn't read this sooner. It's definitely one of my favorite books I've read so far this year. There's just so much to like from Jude & Emilio's banter, Jude's inner thoughts, Pancake the dog (Jude's translations for him are the best), and the family theme throughout the book. It even got me to tear up a bit! Definitely at least a 4 star read, but I might raise it later.
