Forbidden Devil is a forbidden hockey romance and the debut novel by Melissa Ivers.
Jazlyn and her brother have just inherited a professional hockey team from their father. Everyone is hoping and waiting for her to fail. Lincoln is one of the star players on the Devils and Jazlyn's old fling from when they were at the Olympics together. They both know that they need to steer clear of each other but the pull is just too strong.
I did enjoy this book for the most part. The chemistry and tension between Lincoln and Jazlyn was hot and thick. The side characters in this book made for some good banter and I am sure some of their stories will be interesting. Where I struggled with the book was I found the dirty talking to be too over the top and for someone who wanted to show everyone she should be taken seriously, she lacked the pitbull mentality in a lot of areas.
