The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald

The Great Gatsby

by F Scott Fitzgerald

When The Great Gatsby was first published in 1925, it did not appear exactly as Fitzgerald had intended. This is the fully authorized text with notes by Fitzgerald biographer, Matthew J. Bruccoli.

I saw the latest movie adaptation of The Great Gatsby when it came out and fell in love with the story of the mysterious self-made man Gatsby and his obsession with his crush of when he was young. Set in the abundant age of the 20s in New York, The Great Gatsby is a beautifully written story of the meaninglessness of money and the futility of the rich. Hope to read the other books by Fitzgerald too, he is a terrific writer.
