One of my 2nd graders wanted me to read this to the class as our class read aloud. He loves hedgehogs so I said I would. This was a cute book but didn't always hold the kids' attention. It had a nice story about three kids that work hard to save a family of hedgehogs. It was nice to read it one time, but I probably won't use this as a class read aloud again because it just didn't have enough action.
