The Man Without Fear plot continues here, but it’s taken a totally different turn. I think in some ways I liked the first issue’s concept more. It was totally unique and somehow perfectly fit the Daredevil theme at the same time.
This issue was still really strong, and ran with a lot of different themes for Daredevil. Especially the kicking him when he’s down part. And making him question how safe it is for the people he loves to be around him. The usual, as far as that’s concerned.
I think that’s the main reason I liked the first issue more – it felt more innovative than this one. But I guess I’ll have to wait and see how the rest of the plot pans out. I’m still really curious to see where it goes, so clearly I wasn’t too upset with this issue.
