The Charm of You is the perfect beach-y/summertime read to add to your list. I guess you better do it soon since fall is right around the corner. It was most definitely a sweet and quick read that many will enjoy.
Presley, absolutely loved her and the journey she went on to became the woman she is today. She's beautiful, oozes confidence and is just fierce! Going through a horrible ordeal when she was in college, that set things in motion towards self-love. And ridding all memory of the one guy who potentially ruined love for her.
Fast forward nearly 10 years later and THE guy pops up back in her life again. And the kicker is that he doesn't even remember who she is. Seeing him again brings back all the memories and hurt he inflicted on her. And now she's out for revenge.
I was a bit nervous about the revenge plot because it can easily become too much. But that storyline grew into something more, something Presley probably wasn't even anticipating at all. Past all the humiliation she went through, her feelings for Nolan is still there. It isn't easy for her to trust, but I sure loved seeing Nolan try like hell to get back into her good graces. The chemistry is undeniable and they're absolutely hot together. They have their second chance at all, but will Presley be able to open heart up to him again?
You gotta love Jennifer Probst's books, she is another one of those authors that I absolutely adore and will always read. The Charm of You wasn't my favorite of Probst's reads, but I enjoyed it so much!
