The third Stephanie Plum novel sees the intrepid Stephanie tailing the saintly Uncle Mo who has skipped bail after being found with a gun. You'll be unsurprised to learn I loved it just as much as One for the Money and Two for the Dough. Seriously, this series must be how it feels to be on drugs. It's addictive. I truly cannot get enough of these books. I'm sure I'm starting to sound like a broken record, I do apologise to anyone reading this. ('Helloooooo, is anybody out there?' She asks, as it echoes around her).

Three To Get Deadly moves Stephanie's story of further. Sure she's still a klutz (I doubt she'll ever manage to be unklutzy) and she still manages to come face-to-face with her bounties before inexplicably letting them leave and she also still manages to get herself into life & death situations. But that's just how Stephanie rolls. Then of course there's the ongoing tensions between herself and Morelli. Personally, I think they should get together stat, but I think we're in for the long haul with those two with only stolen & unexpected kisses to keep us going (boo!).

You'd think that three books that all follow a similar kinda format would be boring after a while but lemme tell you they're not. My reviews might be, but the books aren't because with each book there's additional characters brought forwards who add to the novel. Grandma Mazur was front and center in book two, and in Three to get Deadly, reformed hooker Lula is desperate to be like Stephanie and be a bounty hunter. I thought it was hilarious, but I'd also love for them to be a double act in future books because lemme tell you Lula is hilarious. Seriously she's such a wonderful character. So I'll be starting Four To Score later today.
