I love books that deal with grief and loss, and this one was pretty special. It was beautiful and touching, and I really felt Juniper's pain, but what I really loved was the way she navigated her way out of that hole of despair. I shed quite a few tears. Watching Juniper's friendships grow and flourish was a special treat. I especially loved her friendship with Brand, who was so much more complex than I originally thought. I won't say I wished for a one thing to have been a little different with the ending, but at least Israel gave me hope.
