When seventeen-year-old Tessa Brody comes into possession of an ancient unicorn tapestry, she is plummeted into sixteenth-century England, where her life is intertwined with that of a handsome nobleman who is desperately trying to escape a terrible fate.
This book was ok. The story was unique, there was action and romance and danger and humor. The heroine was pleasant enough (though with a bit of an odd fashion sense) and the hero was handsome and strong. But it felt like the whole story was just skimming along the surface with no depth. I never felt really immersed in the story, never in love with the hero or afraid of the villain. The whole thing was good, but rather shallow.
