Naturally, dark romances aren't for everyone, it really pushes you to read outside of your comfort zone. Yeah, there were definitely a couple things that I could have done without and didn't really seem necessary to mention. But Elsa used it to hurt Aiden knowing she'd regret it. But that's what these two do. They're crazy, but I was still here for them and ready for the wild ride they were going to take me on.
Rina is an absolute mastermind with her characters and Aiden is the perfect example of that. She gave us this cruel, menacing hero that is pretty much a sociopath, but even he had some character development throughout their story. And despite his craziness, you can't help, but love him a little. He's honest, cunning and intense through and through.
