I was quite intrigued by Willow and Nick in the first book of this series, Game for Marriage.  It was obvious that something was brewing between the two of them, even though Willow seemed to be in complete denial about it.  Willow is a pro where denial is concerned.  She and Nick have a young love gone bad wrong thing going on and Nick has decided that he has had enough of Willow acting like there is nothing between them.  Nick is going to make Willow his...once and for all.
Just watching her do such a simple thing like touch her hair made him break out into a sweat.  Damn, he had it bad.  There was no doubt in his mind that he would conquer her.  Make her his once and for all.  Game motherfucking on.

I have to say that I LOVED Nick.  I thought I loved Jared (Game for Marriage) but good googly moogly, I LOVED Nick.  Nick was capable of pushing back when Willow was really trying pushing his buttons and push him away.  Not to mention the guy is hot like freaking Texas Pete in the bedroom and I'm a sucker for a dirty talker.
He wanted to kiss her.  Suck that sexy lower lip of hers between his own and nibble and lick it.  Roam his hands all over her body, see if those specific spots that used to get her all hot and bothered still did.

As for Willow, she didn't really know what to do with growly, alpha Nick...
Oh, my God.  He was acting like a completely different person.  No more easygoing Nick.  Now he was growly, animalistic Nick.  Tear her panties to bits and look at her like he wanted to eat her alive Nick.  She liked it.  Heaven help her, she fucking loved it.

She loved it?  I freaking loved it!  I loved Nick and Willow together, even when Willow was still trying to fight her feelings for him, I knew she was trying to protect herself from the feelings she had been feeling for him for years.  He left her high and dry many years ago when they were young and she was afraid to trust him again.

This one was worth the wait and I really, really enjoyed it.  I'll leave you with my Nick and more thoughts from Willow:
