This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Bookouture for letting me take part in this tour and my copy of this book via Netgalley. This is the 6th book in the series but they can all be read as standalones.

This book is set a few months after the last one. Josie is at the park with baby Harris when little Lucy goes missing. If there is one person you want on your case it is definitely Josie Quinn. Josie is as tough and badass as ever in this book. While she is going through a lot of personal stuff in this book she is as professional as ever and completely focused on the case.

This book was action-packed. It was very difficult to put down as I always needed to find out what was going to happen next. I guessed quite early on how the flashbacks related to the present day but Lisa still had a few tricks up her sleeve to reveal.

It sounds weird to say it was a pleasure to return to the world of Josie Quinn given the circumstances but Lisa always drags me right back in with such ease it's like I never left. I can't wait to see what happens next with Josie
