I've been meaning to read this for a while. But we love Fancy Nancy and this is the perfect time with our Forest for the Trees unit study. My book is part of a box set but I do believe there is a stand alone copy out in existence as well.

So far there us an explorer extraordinaire or nature club. Rules and etiquette for nature study including a good spark for Leave No Trace Frontier Girls scouting badge.

Some new to me from Fancy Nancy books is the inclusion of real photos for example. This has a great intro to the idea of a nature journal.

Bird feeder craft. Insects. Birds. Silly jokes. They are exploring and then returning to club house base to research. What inspiration!

Tree leaves only spans one page. However it still fits well in the theme. Especially when considering a nature journal, research, and nature study in general in the great outdoors. A great science interest reader.

My copy is from a box set. 9780062210555.
