I don't think this issue was as strong as some of the previous ones (the third issue will forever hold a special spot in my heart now), nor did it have the same eerie sense as the earlier issues. Then again, the eerie tone was based heavily on us not really knowing what was going on. Now we have a better idea, though we still don't see the big picture yet.
I'll admit that I feel bad for what happened to Walter in this issue. I only ever see him in the Captain Marvel series, so I can't pretend I'm terribly attached to him...but still gotta feel bad for the dude.
Also, maybe it's just me, but I'm certain that we're going to end up seeing that reporter again. It seems like the sort of thing they'd pick up and run with.
