Having survived the end of the world, the Queens follow Hannah back to
where it all began: Mage University. A long perilous journey awaits the Rat
Queens as they attempt to find out what happened to Hannah's father while
battling their own demons.
Not as good as the first two volumes. It became a lot darker and lacked the irreverant humour that so caught me in the first volume. The art style is good but I did feel that the original artist had done a more effective job of communicating the characters and the back story was a little too confusing in this one, in complete contrast to the masterful way that it was conveyed in volume 2. I'm still excited to follow the rest of the series, but this one didn't quite grab me the same way.
