Let me just start off by saying it was such a relief to read a story with a musician where the hero isn't a major playboy or well, super cocky! I have quickly become a fan of Siobhan Davis the more I read her books. And Incognito had me hooked the entire book! Not only do we get the romance but a bit suspense as well.

One of the many things that I loved about Incognito was that the relationship between Shawn and Dakota took time, which made it much more real to me. Their attraction for each other in instant, but what followed felt genuine to me. Shawn and Dakota have their own pains that they're getting through and well Shawn is hiding a whole lot more. And we all know it's a matter of time where the truth comes out and you'll be wondering what the downfall will be like.

Shawn made it so easy to love the guy, he has owned up to his mistakes and wants to make amends, but he also wants his death threats to stop too. And since going into hiding seems to be the best idea, I couldn't wait to see Shawn take on the full romance role once he sees Dakota for the first time. He's such a romantic, guys, it's ridiculous, I couldn't stop swooning over this him. He's as smooth as they come and darn right near impossible to be mad at. Obviously, I'm never a fan when someone withholds the truth, but I couldn't' find it in myself to be super upset about it either.

Dakota understands tragedy and has been breathing it for quite some time. Her pain was unbelievably heartbreaking and it was just neverending ... But I gotta say that a few of the people in her life are absolutely horrible, completely toxic and undeserving of her in their lives! When it came to Shawn, I wasn't a fan of her quick assumptions and the whole "I was played" card. Not that Shawn was perfect in this area. But I don't like games and when you tell someone to stay away and expect them to talk to you ... yeah, that makes ZERO sense. Figure it out, girlfriend.

Incognito was a completely well-rounded story. I love a good rockstar story and this one definitely stands out there on their own! I really enjoyed the suspense of this story and some of the other topics that were discussed that everyone could relate to. Once the ending came around, things got angsty and dramatic real quick. it was nearly overwhelming. But it didn't stop me from moving forward and finishing the read. Definitely, recommend this different kind of rockstar romance, I think fans would enjoy it!
