The Gravedigger's Brawl is the perfect book for a rainy day.

When Wyatt, the curator at a museum, is set up with the bartender Ash by his best friend, he isn't expecting to fall in love with him. There are strange things going on at the bar where Ash works, Gravedigger's. There are rumours of the bar being haunted.

I really liked The Gravedigger's Brawl. The romance between Wyatt and Ash was very sweet. They had a few problems to deal with, and it made watching them work it out a lot sweeter. They're both very different, with very different backgrounds, but somehow they are perfect together. There are a few (I think about two, at the top of my head) sex scenes in the book which are quite graphic, but nothing icky. They are all part of the story, but easily skip-able if you feel uncomfortable reading them. This really is a great story, so it would be a shame if two sex scenes are holding you back reading it.

The mystery aspect of The Gravedigger's Brawl was great. It's slightly secondary to the romance plot, but the sightings keep the story moving forward. I loved the fact that the moment Ash starts seeing the ghosts too, I was actually starting to freak out as well. I love it when a book manages to scare me. The plot was also very well thought out and researched. It had this great balance between credibility and paranormal elements that's very hard to achieve with ghost stories.

I definitely recommend The Gravedigger's Brawl for that dreary day you just want to cuddle up with a book and a hot beverage.
