The Knife of Never Letting Go is a solid story, a solid dystopia, too. However, I never felt connected to the story - nor the characters.
Todd was confused, with good reason, as he had never been told the truth about Prentisstown and The New World. He was strong, however, and he had a good moral compass, that's for sure.
Viola was alone, having arrived on New World with her parents, but then, having to figure things out on her own.
I will continue with the series, but I'm not as excited about it as I was before I read this story.
