All That Jazz

I had ZERO expectations for this book. I only picked it from Hoopla, because it fit my keyword challenge for this month, and I like contemporary romances. I am happy to say, I really enjoyed it.

I love a good second chance romance, and the more history the hero and heroine have, the better. These two went all the way back to childhood, and Boyd brings us back in time and allows us to watch some really significant moments unfold. And, wow! The last hour was full of me sniffling and crying a little, but it was a good kind of verklempt.

I didn't realize this was a series, and I own the first book, but I will definitely be circling back to read the others Butler Cove stories.
