I enjoyed this so much! I love, love, love fauxmances and friends-to-more romances, and we got a nice combination of two with this book.

Lexi and Jase had been really close, but grew apart several years ago, but after Lexi was dumped by her boyfriend, Jeffery, Jase agrees to be her fake boyfriend to make Jeffery jealous.

Watching Jase and Lexi rekindle their friendship was fun and touching, but there were times that broke my heart too, because I could tell neither was being honest with the other or themselves. Jase showed how much he cared in so many ways, and Lexi just couldn't see it. It sort of made me nuts, but you know, she eventually saw the light.

A side character, who gets a shout out is Lexi's brother, Eric. He was a younger brother, but he really came through for his sister and was a total sweetheart, when she really needed it. There were a few other characters, who surprised me in a good way, by having more depth than I originally suspected, and I like surprises like that.

Overall: An adorable and fun friends-to-more fauxmance-romance, which left me with a smile on my face.
