“She is the only warmth in my life. Without her, the cold will destroy me.”

My Saving Grace is Grace and Jaxson's age gap, workplace romance from Melanie Moreland.

Grace is finishing her articling at a law firm in Toronto prior to writing her bar exam. The only thing is she is going to have to survive Jaxson Richards. Jaxson is a gruff and demanding person to work for but is also devastatingly handsome. Grace is determined not to let Jaxson distract her but he has other ideas.

I enjoyed the book. Jaxson and Grace had the perfect amount of attraction and witty banter between them. I actually felt bad for Jaxson and was glad that Grace was able to help him realize that everyone deserves love and is loveable. I am looking forward to going back and catching up on the Vested Interest series.

John Lane and Maxine Mitchell did a good job bringing the characters and story to life. As an Ontarian, I had to giggle every time they said Toronto as they pronounced it Tor-on-to and we Ontarians pronounce it Tor-on-oh.
