They thought they had found their "forever" as teens until a tragedy drove a wedge between them. Fast forward twelve years, and FADE and Delightful find their paths crossing again, when Delightful is asked to pen a screenplay based on FADE's life. Though they had been separated for many years, time did nothing to diminish the flames they carried for each other, but would they be able to moved past their pain and move forward together?

I am a big fan of second chance romances, and the more history the hero and heroine have, the more I love it. Delightful and FADE were so entrenched in each other's pasts and my hopeless romantic heart just adored the idea of them still loving each other after all this time. I found myself invested in the couple and was rooting for them to work through their baggage so they could get their HEA.

I think my biggest problem was that this book was too close to the erotica line for me. I don't mind some sex in my romances, but for such a short book, I felt like there was a bit too much sex for the amount of story. I would have liked to have seen that time used to better explore the characters and their emotions.

However, overall, I was entertained and I found the characters likable. Being in their world was interesting. The movies, music, and parties were a great backdrop. I also loved the focus on family. It's emphasized often in the story, how important their families are to them, and it was great to get to meet the siblings.
