3.5 stars. It started off really strong, but I ended up getting a little bored fast.

I don't know if it's because I've became sort of a binge reader in the sense that I have to read a book within 3 days or I'll get bored with it and want to move onto something else or what. So I'm adding that here as a pretense for what comes next.

The relationship between Moxie and Violet is very cute. The title had me think one thing about Moxie's personality, but I was quite surprised with how she was actually portrayed. Violet and her crew are quite funny, and I think the best part of this book is the banter. However, there's quite a lot of it, to the point that that is the only way I can describe these characters. Without their snark remarks, they are nothing, and I sort of saw that and was like , "ah, ok." Also they're all very similar in that regard.

The plot and all was ok, I don't have many thoughts on it and I thought the relationship progression was ok. I also feel that I can't be that harsh on character development and personality since this book is actually a little shorter than your typical novel. Furthermore, the sex scenes were also ok. A little less than what I was expecting, but there's some steam.

Still, I can't see myself giving it four stars. There was too many things missing for me to rate it as such.

I will say, though, if you want a laugh and a sweet wlw romance, I think you should give it a chance! I'm just picky, I think, and probably expected more than what 275 pages could give me.
