I received a copy of this story from Net Galley for an honest review.

I like to read reviews that give it to me straight, so here goes...

The Hero was misunderstood and the heroine was recovering from a bad previous marriage. The hero is strong, rich and swoon worthy. The heroine is beautiful and wants to be independent. She is also trying to get back to being the person she once was. There is conflict, mystery, misunderstandings and always angsty bits. There is lust and sexy bits. No cheating and a Happy Ever After.

This story had everything I love and expect in a Historical Romance. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
