I am such a fan of Jasinda Wilder and of this book! She's such a pro for making her readers panting for more. With Hammered being the first for this series, I can you tell you now that I absolutely can't wait for the rest of the books. She gives us just enough insight of the characters who will be getting their own book and trust me, you'll be wanting by the end.

First of all, can we just talk about the heroine's name, Imogen? I don't know why, but it just makes me want me to belt out an Imogen Heap's song (well the only song I know), absolutely loved her name and character. Even though this was told in her POV, I was kind of hoping for Jesse's POV, I wouldn't mind seeing what goes on in his head. I loved being in Imogen's head, it wasn't all pretty, but it was real and extremely hilarious especially when it came to her new "home fixer-upper", Jesse. She can't help but gawk at the beautiful man who finds things to fix in her house.

The dialogue between Imogen and Jesse is full of innuendos and it's so darn funny, but also so darn sexy. Jesse is absolute perfection, I loved that he always reassures Imogen how beautiful she is, inside and out even the times when she can't see that herself. He worships and values her like every woman should. It definitely took some time for Jesse to tear her walls down, but let's be real, she was gone since the first time he showed up at her door.

Hammered is a fun, sweet and sexy read! I've been reading one too many angsty books lately and this one was such a welcomed break! Jasinda, an amazing start to the Dad Bod Contracting series, can't wait for Drilled!
